What We Can Help With — and Where Manufacturer Support Is Needed

E-bikes are an amazing way to ride, but they’re also far more complex than traditional bicycles. Many e-bikes—especially those purchased online—use brand-specific electronics, software, and proprietary parts that are not interchangeable across manufacturers.

Because of this, there are times when we may not be able to diagnose or repair certain e-bike issues on the spot. We want to be upfront about that so there are no surprises.

If You Purchased Your E-Bike Online

In recent years, many e-bike brands have entered the market—and some have already disappeared or changed support models. Many of these bikes use non-standard components, unique wiring, and proprietary batteries or controllers that only the manufacturer can service or supply parts for.

If your e-bike is experiencing an electronic or system-level issue, we recommend contacting the original manufacturer first to:

• Diagnose the problem

• Confirm compatibility

• Obtain the correct replacement parts (including batteries, displays, controllers, or wiring)

Our Role: Installation & Mechanical Service

Dr. Bike760 operates as an installation and mechanical service provider, not a manufacturer-authorized repair center for every e-bike brand.

That means:

• We can assemble new e-bikes

• We can install manufacturer-supplied replacement parts

• We can perform mechanical services like brakes, tires, drivetrain, and tune-ups

• We do not have access to proprietary replacement parts for every e-bike brand

• We cannot troubleshoot or reprogram brand-specific electronics or software

Once you’ve obtained the necessary replacement parts from the manufacturer, we’re happy to schedule a visit to install them and get your e-bike back on the road.

Good News for Traditional Bikes

This disclaimer does not apply to standard road bikes, mountain bikes, or non-electric bicycles. These bikes use universal components and can be fully serviced, repaired, and maintained by Dr. Bike760 without restriction.
